“This is for everyone we have lost to suicide. For those who never got to see the light come back. For those who have lost loved ones to suicide. I walk for them. And I walk for those who are still here, fighting.”

In July 2025 I will be setting out on a monumental journey, trekking 8,500 km from Nordkapp, Norway, to Gavdos Island, Greece - the northernmost to the southernmost point in Europe. This trek will take me through ten countries, navigating Arctic tundra, dense forests, mountain ranges and rugged coastal trails. Its the first attempted continuous solo trek of its kind and the aim is to do it under 365days.

The challenge is more than just an extreme endurance feat—it’s a campaign to raise awareness for suicide prevention and to push for urgent change in the UK’s mental health system.

For years, I've used my social media platforms to advocate for mental health, sharing my personal experiences with addiction, bipolar, ADHD and PTSD. But I'm tired of just talking, its time to turn advocacy into activism.

I'm doing this in support of CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and AuDHD, two charities dedicated to suicide prevention and supporting mental health initiatives.

Because we are losing too many people.

I’ve been to the edge myself. I know what it’s like to feel there’s no way forward. But I also know that if you just take one more step—no matter how impossible it seems—you will find yourself somewhere new. That is what this trek represents.

There will be days when I feel I can’t go on, days when I question the point of it all. But I will keep moving, one step at a time. And soon enough, beauty will return. Hope will return. Just like it does in life.

This is for everyone we have lost to suicide. For those who never got to see the light come back. For those who have lost loved ones to suicide.

I walk for them. And I walk for those who are still here, fighting.

I hope to spark conversations, dismantle stigmas, make real change and create as much noise as possible.

And I'm bringing you with me from the brutal training to the finish line. I will be vlogging the entire journey through my social media platforms. So follow to experience every step, every challenge and every victory right alongside me.

Thank you to everyone who helps make Stride Beyond Silence possible. As mentioned in the video, everyone that contributes to the crowdfunder will get their name on my tent, so I can carry you with me every step of the way, as well as being able to wake up every morning to see all the people I am doing this for and with, which on those tougher days will really be a huge source of motivation. You will also get your name on a virtual wall of support (see below), as well as, receiving a poem - written whilst on my trek - with a personal message of gratitude.
